The Toledo Saboteurs got a sterling performance from pitcher Jimmy Wilson, but the Akron Blimps still prevailed, 4-3. Wilson threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball. Akron has now won 3 straight, while the Saboteurs have lost 3 in a row.

Akron used the bat of Sherwin Tacod to get the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Blimps ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
