The Toledo Saboteurs defeated the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 4-1, in M3L Double A action at Toledo Backyard Park. Toledo pitcher Darwin McGinnity had a standout performance. Victor Brown notched his 8th save in 12 chances. The Saboteurs go to 30-59 with the win.

Manuel Ortíz dealt the Fighting Imps a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with a runner on 2nd and Toledo leading 1-0, Ortíz, who is tied for 3rd in the 3AA in hits with 102, hit a 1-1 fastball for a run-scoring single.

"It was a good effort all around," said Ortíz.
