Loons Topple Saboteurs, 9-2, as Pagueros Shines
The Minnesota Loons topped the Toledo Saboteurs, 9-2, with third baseman Víctor Pagueros playing a big role. Pagueros went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Loons in the win. Minnesota pitcher Derrick Jones got the win. He's now 10-5. Pablo Montoya was tagged with the loss. The Loons have an impressive 56-31 record.

The Loons grabbed the lead in the top of the third. With one out, Bill Uttley, who is tied for 10th in the 3AA with a .830 OPS, hit a 2-run home run off Pablo Montoya, putting Minnesota in front, 3-0. For Uttley, it was his 7th home run of the season.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Uttley said. "We did a good job of that today."
