The 6-3 Billings win over Crescent City was due in large part to Júlio Rivera. The Polar Bears left fielder belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Stu Sutherland was credited with the save for Billings, his 8th of the season. Billings now has a record of 55-30 with the win.

Yukinaga Hakui hit a 2-run double off Dave Farris in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Polar Bears in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Hakui had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Rivera told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
