Asuncion hits 3 home runs, Leads Love Boats to Win
The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats easily defeated the Akron Blimps, 13-4, at Heron Field, with third baseman Jose Asuncion a main contributor to the win. He hit 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times for Lake Minnetonka. Arturo Pérez snagged the win in relief. In 2.1 innings, the right-hander allowed no runs on no hits. He's now 1-0 on the season. Lake Minnetonka has now won 4 games in a row.

Lake Minnetonka took a 5-4 lead on Jake White's 5th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which White hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Akron pitcher Raúl Nieves visibly frustrated.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said White.
