Burkholder Paces Lighthouse to 5-0 Win
The Long Island Lighthouse went home winners at The Lighthouse, thanks in large part to starter Shem Burkholder. Burkholder stifled the Pittsburgh Kingfishers, enabling Long Island to grab the 5-0 win. The 9th-place Lighthouse raised their record to 32-45.

Burkholder gave Long Island a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7 innings.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Burkholder told the Long Island Herald.
