Jason Wilson did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Barton Springs Blues from losing, 4-3, to the Lancaster Farmers at Farmers Field. Wilson went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Qing-lai Hoong, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. The Farmers raised their record to 22-35.

Had Valerio Salinas not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Salinas hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Farmers.

After the game, Lancaster manager Dylan Smith applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
