Right-hander Nelson McNeil mesmerized the Akron Blimps while leading the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats to a 6-0 victory. McNeil got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no hits and walked 1 over 5.2 innings. McNeil allowed no runs. Lake Minnetonka, at 31-22, occupies third place in the Menard's AA.

Lake Minnetonka used a well-timed hit by Jose Asuncion to capture the win. The third baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Love Boats ahead, 5-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Lake Minnetonka manager Sake van Arem.
