Getting a good performance from right fielder Robbie Care, the Ithaca Fighting Imps defeated the Lancaster Farmers, 7-4. Care went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Fighting Imps. Ithaca pitcher Damarco Lyons got the win. He's now 3-4. Hakizimana Kipkorir was tagged with the loss. The win gives the Fighting Imps a record of 16-30.

Care had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-2 fastball from Yaw Selemani, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Fighting Imps a 7-3 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Care.

"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Care told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
