The Casper Ghosts topped the Lancaster Farmers, 2-1, in M3L Double A action at Farmers Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Casper pitcher Bryan Workman. Workman picked up the win for Casper, going 5 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. Adam Wright picked up the save for Casper, his 4th of the year.
Casper used a well-timed hit by Kuan Ru to capture the win. The third baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Ghosts ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We did just enough to win," Ru said.
The losing streak for Lancaster has now reached 4 games.
