Blimps Suffer 6-2 Loss to Loons
Minnesota second baseman Lynn Allen helped his team beat the Akron Blimps, 6-2. Allen went 2 for 2 for the Loons. Clayton Horne sewed up the save, his 2nd. The Loons have an impressive 28-16 record.

With Minnesota leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Allen hit a changeup from Fredrick Shive for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Loons ahead, 4-0.

"I thought we played a nice game," Allen told the Minnesota Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
