The Lancaster Farmers downed the Akron Blimps, 5-4, at Farmers Field. Millard Carr led the way, going 2-for-4 for Lancaster. Lancaster's record now stands at 17-23, placing them 9th in the Menard's AA.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Carr hit a fastball from Raúl Nieves for a run-scoring single. The Farmers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Carr.
