Blimps Knock Off Polar Bears at Goodyear Hanger Dome
The Akron Blimps defeated the Billings Polar Bears, 8-4, at Goodyear Hanger Dome today. Leading the charge for Akron was first baseman Rommel Fflunker. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The 'W' lifts Akron's record to 20-14.

Sherwin Tacod hit a 3-run home run off Lang Lian in the bottom of the first, which put the Blimps ahead, 3-0. In addition to the homer, Tacod had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Fflunker.
