The Casper Ghosts topped the Toledo Saboteurs, 7-2, in M3L Double A action at Toledo Backyard Park. The standout performance belonged to Casper pitcher and Queens, New York, native Mark Smith. Casper reliever Adam Wright picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Alonso Soto was tagged with the loss. The win elevated the Ghosts to 12-12.

Runs were scarce in this one. So, Thiago Cicerón's at-bat in the top of the ninth was vitally important. With no one out, the Casper second baseman hit a sacrifice fly, to give his team a 3-2 lead.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Cicerón.
