The Billings Polar Bears knocked off the Lancaster Farmers, 7-3, at Farmers Field. Marcos Vargas was a big reason Billings won. The first baseman went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Heath Hennington closed the door for Billings, picking up his 9th save of the year. The Polar Bears raised their record to 17-6.

The Polar Bears got a gift in the top of the fifth inning, when they were leading 3-2. With two out and the bases loaded, Ángel Torrez reached on an error by the P, driving in 2 runs. It made the score 5-2, Billings.
