Blimps Lose to Saboteurs in Walk Off
The Toledo Saboteurs grabbed a win, 5-4, over the Akron Blimps at Toledo Backyard Park. Toledo center fielder Tom Connelly was 4-5 with a triple and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs. Toledo reliever Dave Parkinson was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Chris Logan took the loss. The win puts Toledo at 8-13.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Toledo trailing 4-3, Connelly hit a sinker from Chris Logan for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Saboteurs had a walk-off win.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Connelly said.
