Love Boats Snag 4-2 Win
|
Lake Minnetonka Love Boats starter Jim Murray hurled his team past the Billings Polar Bears, 4-2. Don Williams was called on to finish, recording his 10th save. The Love Boats, now 13-6, have been red hot.
Lake Minnetonka used a timely hit from Ryan McLeod to get the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Love Boats ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.
"Enjoyed this one," McLeod told the Lake Minnetonka News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
