Love Boats Get One-Run Win at Lancaster
The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats did just enough to sneak past the Lancaster Farmers, 4-3, at Farmers Field. Lake Minnetonka pitcher José García, in particular, had a standout performance. García picked up the win for Lake Minnetonka, going 6 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. Don Williams earned the save, his 6th.

Had Rubén Larreta not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Larreta hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Love Boats.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Larreta said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
