The Billings Polar Bears topped the Toledo Saboteurs, 7-4, in M3L Double A action at Toledo Backyard Park. The standout performance belonged to Billings pitcher and Yangjiang, China, native Wing-chiu Che. Che, now 2-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing no runs. The Polar Bears, now 9-2, have stormed out of the gates.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for John Ghrzan? The Billings third baseman had a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Polar Bears on top, 7-0. For the game, Ghrzan had 1 double and 1 single in 2 at-bats.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Billings manager Marvin Nelson.
