No one was more impactful than Luis Rey in the 4-3 Casper win over Ithaca. Rey went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. Casper pitcher John Savage got the win. He's now 1-0. Mike Hopkins was tagged with the loss. Foster Lang nailed down his 2nd save.

Kuan Ru drew 1 walk, while adding 2 RBI for Casper. The 24-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off Brooks Sexton. It was his 3rd walk of the season.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Rey told the Casper Citizen. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."

With the loss, Ithaca drops to 4-6.
