Santángel Delivers Walk-Off Win for Outlaws
Nashville starter Ralph Minor had a strong outing against the New Orleans Voodoo at Nashville Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Nashville reliever Firpo Marberry picked up the win, upping his record to 6-5. Pat Martin absorbed the loss. The victory gives Nashville a record of 62-44.

The Outlaws procured the win, in large part because of left fielder Juan Santángel. In the bottom of the 13th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"We were in it," said New Orleans manager Chase Sims. "We just didn't score enough runs."
