Starting pitcher Jesús Crisotomo was a major factor in the 2-1 Detroit Elite triumph over the Oakland Oaks. With the win, Detroit upped its record to 35-32.

Detroit relied on the hitting of Bang-xao Li to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Elite on top, 2-1. For the game, Li had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
