Getting offensive support from Niek Bendt, the Detroit Elite topped the Oakland Oaks, 6-2. Bendt hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Elite. Detroit is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Bendt had a timely hit for Detroit in the top of the seventh. With Oakland trailing 1-0, he turned a 1-0 cutter into a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season, making it 2-1, Detroit.

"It was a solid team effort," said Bendt after the game.
