Montana Pandas starter Stuart Chase turned in a top-notch performance against the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC at Great Northern Field. The result was a win for the Pandas, 4-2. Edmond McCord earned the save for Montana, his 8th of the year. Montana is now 24-23, while Thunder Bay is 27-20.

It could have been a different outcome for Montana, had it not been for Jesús Encarnación, the 2038 Newcomer of the Year Award winner . Encarnación contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Montana up, 3-1.
