Billings starter Wing-chiu Che had a strong outing against the Casper Ghosts at The Igloo. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. Heath Hennington recorded the save for Billings, his 3rd of the season. The loss puts Casper at 2-4.

The Polar Bears got an important contribution from designated hitter Pleun Vleugel, who in the bottom of the third knocked a first pitch fastball into right-center for a bases-clearing double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Polar Bears ahead, 4-0.

"Wing-chiu did a tremendous job," said Billings manager Marvin Nelson.
