Cattlemen Need Extra Innings to Top Rocketeers, 11-8
Gah-fat Liu had a good game, but he could not keep the Seattle Rocketeers from falling, 11-8, to the Ft. Worth Cattlemen at Boeing Dome. The Seattle first baseman slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice in the loss. Marvin Sidebottom recorded the save for Ft. Worth, his 1st of the season. The triumph makes Ft. Worth 7-30.

It could have been a different outcome for Ft. Worth, had it not been for Kolby Hay, the 27-year old left fielder . Hay contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Ft. Worth up, 4-2.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Seattle manager Mau Delgado.
