Pittsburgh rode a decent outing from starter Ralph Greer to victory over the Ft. Worth Cattlemen. The final score was 5-4. The Cattlemen, now 6-18, have lost 7 straight.

Pittsburgh used a clutch hit from Rafael Abasto to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the 13th inning to put the Kingfishers ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Ft. Worth manager Scott Thompson.
