Voodoo Lose to White Walkers in Walk Off
The Buffalo White Walkers defeated the New Orleans Voodoo, 12-8. Doing his part was shortstop Tom Bancroft, who was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 6. The winner was Buffalo reliever Steven Crockett, now 1-0. The loser was Pat Martin. The Voodoo are now 7-13.

Buffalo won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and Pat Martin on the mound for New Orleans, left fielder Pepe Savinon hit a dramatic grand slam home run, bringing White Walkers fans to their feet.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Savinon told the Buffalo Chronicle. "You win just by scoring more runs."
