Sahagún 4-6 to Power Voodoo Offense
The New Orleans Voodoo defeated the Buffalo White Walkers, 12-5, at Beyond the Wall. New Orleans second baseman Júlio Sahagún had a superb performance. He went 4-6 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Bernardo López, the winning pitcher, improved to 1-1. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 7 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 1 and walking 2. The White Walkers, now 5-14, continue their poor start.

Sahagún had a game-changing double in the top of the sixth. On a 0-1 sinker from Tony Wolfe, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Voodoo a 6-4 lead. It was the 6th double of the year for Sahagún.

"I felt good up there," said Sahagún. "I saw the ball well."
