It was a good time at Cloverdale Legion Park, where fans came to watch the Pittsburgh Kingfishers and Kingston Township Knights get after it.

The Kingston Township Knights picked up a win at Cloverdale Legion Park, knocking off the Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 4-2. Starting pitcher Chase Sims played a key role in the triumph. Sims went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 4-11. Stu Searle earned the save, his 18th.

Pittsburgh had a runner on 1st in the top of the ninth. With one out, Max Sinclair came to bat, hoping to do some damage. Instead, he struck out. The score remained 4-2, Kingston Township. The Kingfishers saw their comeback bid fail.

The Knights now have a record of 34-54.
