Victory Over Voodoo Takes Pittsburgh to 14-8
Zhao-ji Qiu never let the Voodoo get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Kingfishers to a 4-1 win. Qiu, now 2-1, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run. The Kingfishers have now won 4 straight.

Pittsburgh used the bat of Li-ren Ku to get the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Kingfishers ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"I like our mindset right now," said Pittsburgh manager Tyler Johnson.
