Browns Win at Pittsburgh, 4-1
|
Browns designated hitter Xiao-yong Huang put his stamp on his team's 4-1 win over the Pittsburgh Kingfishers. Huang was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for Cleveland in the contest. The winner was Wilson Alindogan, who threw 69 pitches over 5.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 3 hits. Nick Altrock converted his 1st save in 1 tries.
With Cleveland leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Huang hit a forkball from Ralph Greer for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Browns ahead, 3-0.
"There's still time to turn this season around," said Huang.
