SL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Wednesday, October 1st, 2042 Youngster Samual Johnson emerged as the latest United States Silver League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Colorado deserved the honor, batting .344 with 4 home runs and 17 RBI. Is the month of September a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Johnson enjoy the limelight. A look at his season totals shows Johnson with 19 home runs, .292 BA, .374 OBP, 61 RBIs and 51 runs scored. |
