SL's Top Player Named Monday, September 22nd, 2042 Mark Toope is respected by most Long Island Lighthouse fans for his no-frills style of play. The 29-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the United States Silver League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .583 average (14-for-24) with 5 home runs, 10 RBIs and 9 runs scored. For the year Toope is batting .319 with 20 home runs. |
