Long Island Loses van Claveren for Year Thursday, September 18th, 2042 The Long Island Lighthouse and their fans were rocked today by the news that star second baseman Jonas van Claveren would miss the rest of the season due to injury. van Claveren was hurt in a recent game against the Kingston Township Knights while running the bases. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was plantar fascitis. His doctors think that van Claveren will miss about 2-3 weeks.
