SL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Monday, September 1st, 2042 Júlio Coronado's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Mississippi first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In August he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .341 with 2 doubles, no triples and 6 home runs. Coronado also scored 20 times and drove in 15 runs. Looking at his present stats, Coronado has compiled a .270 batting average in 90 games with a .352 on-base percentage, while hitting 19 home runs and driving in 57 runs. |
