Hori Earns SL's Best Pitcher Honor Monday, September 1st, 2042 As Kyuichi Hori hoisted up the United States Silver League Pitcher of the Month trophy for August, rumors have already begun to swirl about whether he will leave D.C. once his contract is up at the end of the season. Hori put pressure on the Divided to keep him around by posting a 4-0 record and an ERA of 1.82 over 29.2 innings last month. He also rolled up 15 strikeouts, increasing his value both to D.C. and to every other team in the league. Hori has started 18 times this year, pitched 109.1 innings, fanned 82 batters and walked 35.
