Pandas, Northern Lions BC Swap Players Monday, August 4th, 2042 Several Pandas and Northern Lions BC players soon will have to start shopping for a new home. It was announced today that the two teams came to agreement on a trade. Montana will get 35-year-old LHP Hervé Favier and 28-year-old RHP Miguel Rodríguez and Thunder Bay will pick up 20-year-old minor league 2B António Cruz, 20-year-old minor league 3B Danny Adams and 20-year-old minor league LHP Jim Steel in return. "I'm not surprised by the news," one of the players told reporters, "It's part of the business and I understand that. I am looking forward to playing for the Pandas." Thunder Bay will retain a portion of Favier's remaining contract. Thunder Bay will retain a portion of Rodríguez's remaining contract. |
