The San Mateo Dirty Reds topped the Long Island Lighthouse by the score of 5-4, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Palaie Gaoteote. Gaoteote hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Dirty Reds. San Mateo reliever Justin Frederick was credited with the win, to go to 3-4. Carlos Rodríguez took the loss for Long Island. San Mateo, at 48-41, sits in 5th place in the Silver League.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the 11th, with San Mateo trailing 4-3, Gaoteote hit a circle change from Carlos Rodríguez for a 2-run home run, giving the Dirty Reds the walk-off win.

"I like our resilience," said Gaoteote.
