Elite Losing Streak at 6 After Extra-Inning Loss to Knights
|
In a well-pitched game between the Kingston Township Knights and the Detroit Elite, pitcher Jin-oong Mae was superb. The Kingston Township right-hander was named the player of the game in Kingston Township's 2-1 win. Reliever David Blake picked up the win. His record improves to 2-3. Jubal Ropp took the loss. The Elite, now 33-50, have lost 6 straight.
Kingston Township won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Jubal Ropp on the mound for Detroit, third baseman Tom Rowland hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Knights fans to their feet.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Rowland.
