Multi-HR Day for Kringlen as Northern Lions BC Overpower Elite, 15-7
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC beat the Detroit Elite, 15-7, at Detroit Stadium. The win was largely due to the efforts of left fielder Keaton Kringlen, who captured player of the game honors. He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 5. Thunder Bay reliever Jean-Marie Beck picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Lewis Carter absorbed the loss. Thunder Bay is last in the Silver League with a record of 20-59.

The game hit a turning point in the top of the fourth inning, when the Northern Lions BC were trailing 3-2. Curf Pierstisnips delivered a two-out 2-run single for Thunder Bay, catapulting his team into the lead.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Kringlen. "And not try to do too much."
