The Colorado Billy Goats beat the Long Island Lighthouse, 9-2, at The Lighthouse. The win was largely due to the efforts of catcher Jeremy Pollock, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-4 with 3 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Colorado reliever Richard Arnie picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-2. Liam Thomson was collared with the loss. With the win, the Billy Goats improved to 38-31.

Pollock had a game-changing double in the top of the eighth. On a 2-2 changeup from Liam Thomson, he banged a run-scoring double to right, giving the Billy Goats a 3-2 lead. It was the 7th double of the year for Pollock.

"We maximized our offense today," said Colorado skipper Mack Kilkeary. "That makes everyone's life easier."
