Cattlemen Clip Divided in Tight Contest
Ft. Worth first baseman Semo Hoaloha made his presence felt in the 8-6 Cattlemen triumph over the D.C. Divided. Hoaloha went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Tom Scots got credit for the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3.2 innings. Ft. Worth goes to 34-33, D.C. to 37-30.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Scotty Glenn came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing D.C. pitcher Henry Davis, he hit a 1-0 curveball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Ft. Worth on top, 8-6.

"Enjoyed this one," Hoaloha told the Ft. Worth Gazette. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
