Northern Lions BC Come Back Late to Clip Divided
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC did just enough to secure a 6-5 victory over the D.C. Divided at Great Northern Field. Nobody did more than catcher Sébastien Cornu, who captured player of the game honors. Thunder Bay reliever Greg Hoover was credited with the win, to go to 1-3. Yaroslav Red'kin took the loss for D.C.. The Northern Lions BC improved to 18-44.

Griffin Woodfinlevine was the walk-off hero for Thunder Bay. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Northern Lions BC right fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

In postgame comments to the Thunder Bay Today, Cornu said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
