Thrice as Nice: Boston Seizes - Advantage With Late Win
|
An all-important Game of the Round 1 went into extra innings at Dunkin Donuts Park, with the Boston Patriots eventually emerging on top. Boston has Sadiya Seth to thank, after the left fielder went 3-5 with 3 singles in the 3-2 victory. The Patriots are now one game away from the Round 2, holding a - lead in the best-of- series.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Seth hit a fastball from Carlos Rodríguez for a run-scoring single. The Patriots, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"This place sure got loud," said Tyler Carter, the Boston manager.
