Pivotal Game Goes to Host Bowties, 2-1
The Buckhead Bowties started the Silver League Championship in dramatic fashion today, stealing Game 1 from the Kingston Township Knights in a walk-off in the 10th inning. Buckhead took the 2-1 win thanks in large part to a good day from starter Jong-yong Ha. The left-hander threw 6 innings allowing 1 run in the win, which gave the Bowties a - lead to start the best-of- series.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Buckhead center fielder Silvio Capitanio, facing David Blake, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Bowties the 2-1 win.

"We'll savor this win," Capitanio told the Buckhead Citizen, "then get ready for the next game."
