Ohayashi, Brooklyn Open Third League Championship with Win
Brooklyn Dodgers center fielder Koryusai Ohayashi was the difference-maker at Ebbetts Field today, winning player of the game honors as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game of the Third League Championship. The Dodgers took the 8-6 win over the Ft. Worth Cattlemen to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Ohayashi delivered big-time for Brooklyn, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Sima Babic. The game-changing hit put the Dodgers on top, 8-6.

"We played hard and won," said Ohayashi. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
