Ruah hits 8th home run, Dirty Reds Move to 30-20
The San Mateo Dirty Reds extended their winning streak at Magnolia Park.

The San Mateo Dirty Reds defeated the Mississippi Mockingbirds, 7-3, in United States Silver League action at Magnolia Park, with San Mateo center fielder Quitério Ruah named player of the game. Travis Morgan earned the win for San Mateo. He lasted 8 innings, allowing 3 earned runs on 6 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 9-2.

Ruah put San Mateo up, 6-3, when he hit a grand slam home run off Mei Zhào in the top of the fifth. His 8th home run of the season helped the Dirty Reds capture the win.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Ruah said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The 4th-place Dirty Reds have won 6 straight.
