The Detroit Elite defeated the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 6-5, at Great Northern Field. Detroit left fielder Estanislao Hirigoyen was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The winner was Carl MacPherson, who threw 112 pitches over 6 innings.
