The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC faced a tough opponent in Kingston Township pitcher Zebulon Vermillion, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Great Northern Field by a final score of 2-1. Vermillion went 7 innings and allowed no earned runs. Thunder Bay starter Roger Rodenburg was credited with the win after throwing 104 pitches over 7.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-1.
